HILTON RAIDERS - 2012 TENTATIVE CALENDAR OF EVENTS

THIS CALENDAR WILL CHANGE THROUGH OUT THE SEASON. WE WILL HIGHLIGHT ALL CHANGES IN YELLOW TO MAKE IT EASIER TO NOTICE CHANGES.
29-Feb
Returning Player Registration Due All returning players/cheerleaders must register by this date or will lose returning player/cheerleader priority.
1-Mar  
  Open Registration Begins   Registration opens to anyone that qualifies on a first-come first-serve basis as long as space is available.

Equipment/Uniform Sizing & Parent Meeting Mandatory meeting for sizing of equipment and uniforms. Hilton Community Center. Any missing registration paperwork is due at this time (except for the physical form). Participants with the last name begining with A-L should plan on attending this day. We will be equally dividing up the volunteer spots between the 2 nights to make it fair for all.

Hilton Raiders Night @ Dick's Sporting Goods

Every member of the "Hilton Raiders" attending this event will receive a Football team packet with discount coupons for 10% off football cleats, gloves, practice pants, cold weather gear and more. In addition to the team packet discounts, you will receive an additional 15% off your entire purchase on this day. We will have coupons available at the July 24th Equipment/Uniform Handout.

Hilton Fireman's Parade All 2011 participants are invited to march in the parade. Football Players should wear their jersey and Cheerleaders may wear their uniforms but we ask that you do not attend the carnival wearing your uniform. *Parents MUST pick their children up immediately at the end of the parade route.

First Day Of Practice A,B AND C TEAM FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING PRACTICE BEGINS. Monday thru Thursday at the Parma Town Park. Football Players should dress in shorts and t-shirts and bring their helmets the first week. Bring plenty of water. Practice begins at 6:00pm SHARP. Please be on your practice field ready to start on time.

First Day Of Flag Practice Flag Football & Cheerleading practice begins.  Practice will be every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Bring plenty of water.

AYFCL Certification AYFCL Certification will be held at our scrimmage this day. All outstanding paperwork, including signatures, must be in or your child cannot be certified to play.

Team & Invidual Pictures Pictures will be taken during practice. Flag Football and B, C & Flag Cheerleading will have individual and team pictures taken this day. Please arrive in full uniform.

Cheerleaders Only: Please have a change of clothes and sneakers for your daughters for after pictures as they will not be allowed to practice in their uniform OR their new sneakers; it will count as an unexcused absence, resulting in sitting during Sunday's game - which NONE of us want!! ALSO, please stay at the park during pictures to assist your daughter afterwards. Coaches are not responsible for any items that are lost or stolen. The safest bet is for you to take the uniform pieces with you after our pictures have been completed.

AYFCL Cheerleading Competition A, B, C and Flag Cheerleaders will compete against other teams at the RIT Fieldhouse in the AYFCL Cheer Competition. Doors open at 2 PM. Football players come out and support the girls.

Equipment Hand In - A & B, C Football Players & ALL Cheer Equipment hand in will be held at our concession stand. Please return all equipment and uniforms fully washed or cleaned as they will not be accepted dirty.  Kids banquet tickets will be handed out at "Equipment Hand In" when clean equipment is turned in. Additonal banquet tickets can be purchased at this time. Also voting will be taking place for next year's board positions. Come out and vote, each parent can vote.

Raider's Banquet Diplomat Party House. This event is for A, B, and C players, coaches and parents. Due to space constraints, siblings (younger or older) are not invited to this event. Voting for open board positions for the 2013 season will take place at the banquet.
